Nomination Guidelines for The People of Abia Awards 2024
To ensure a smooth and fair nomination process, please follow these guidelines:
1. Eligibility :
- Nominees must be individuals, organizations, or groups with significant ties to Abia State.
- Achievements must have occurred between January 2024 and October 2024, unless stated otherwise.
2. Categories :
You can nominate for multiple categories, including:
- Abia Man/Woman of the Year
- Excellence in Business
- Innovation and Technology
- Youth Leadership
- Community Service, and more!

3. Nomination Process :
- Fill out the nomination form with accurate details about the nominee.
- Provide specific examples of the nominee’s achievements and contributions.
- A short explanation (150-200 words) on why the nominee deserves the award is required.
- You may nominate yourself or another deserving candidate.
4. Supporting Documents (Optional but Recommended):
- Include any supporting materials (articles, videos, photos, testimonials) that showcase the nominee’s achievements.
5. Submission Deadline :
- All nominations must be submitted between *October 21, 2024* and *November 4, 2024*.
6. Selection Process :
- A panel of experts will review all submissions based on the impact, originality, and significance of the nominee’s work.
- Nominees up for Voting will be announced by 8th November, and voting commences
