“You’re Clearing The Mess Of The Past With So Much Ease” ~ De General Heralds Gov. Otti for Payment Of Salary Backlogs

The Chairmanship aspirant of Obingwa LGA Mr. Ikeokwu Ogadinma Ihesiulo, has applauded Gov.Otti for clearing the backlog of salary arrears owed by the past administration. The Governor had earlier promised to clear the remaining backlog of salary arrears owed Abia workers which he promised to clear in tranches, due to the humongous amount to be paid, the debt was splitted into three sections and the first tranch was paid few days ago amounting to wide jubilation and a crescendo of applause sprouting from the various institutions that were victims of the debt. Abia Polytechnic staff were seen in a video jubilating and showering praises on the Governor as they chants his name all along in celebration. De General while speaking about the new development commended the Governor for setting the standard of governance in Abia not minding the sins of the predecessors, in his words “Governor Otti is winning the hearts of Abians with new developments and numerous ongoing project everyday yet with all these it coudn’t deter him one bit to ensure he clears the mess the maladministrrators left behind and that’s a very commendable one” He said. Looking at it from a layman perspective, nobody will query him for not paying such debts, yes because he inherited them from the past administration, but No, he took it as a responsibility to ensure the debt is cleared and that’s a very huge one. De General while expressing satisfaction with the actions of the Governor also hinted on how the past administration plundered the state’s resources meant to be used for significant issues like payment of salaries and pensions, he regretted the actions of the past administration pending how workers were treated, he said “it’s a pitiable pissma dissma that we once had a government in this state that couldn’t cater for salaries incurred during their administration not even debts, instead they allowed the accumulation of such debts to this extent, now we are talking about debts running in billions. Acccording to De General, “Gov. Otti is very prepared for the task of governance and it takes one who is duly prepared to achieve such great feats within a short time without hitches” De General believes that anyone who is prepared for the role of leadership must be prepared to deliver the people from the shackles of the past, just like Gov. Otti is doing, according to him “it’s easier for a leader who is determined to serve the people to take up such responsibilities, Gov. Otti is prepared for the task called leadereship that’s why he’s clearing the mess of the past with so much ease” De General concluded.
