Afrobeat superstar Davido visits Clifford University, Abia State, to deliver a commencement speech and commission the Dr. Veronica Imade Adeleke Female Hostel Complex, honoring his late mother’s legacy and inspiring graduates at the 6th Convocation Ceremony.
Nigeria’s Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to make a grand appearance in Abia State this Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the 6th Convocation Ceremony of Clifford University, Owerrinta.
The global music icon will not be performing this time but delivering a powerful commencement address aimed at inspiring graduating students as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
In addition to his speech, Davido will officially commission the newly built Dr. Veronica Imade Adeleke Female Hostel Complex, named after his late mother. The building stands as a tribute to her enduring legacy of compassion, empowerment, and commitment to education for young women.
