Abia State Government Plans 2025 Abia Turkiye Investment Summit And Product Exhibition.

Abia State Government has announced plans to host the 2025 Abia Turkiye Investment Summit and Product Exhibition in Umuahia. The goal is to grow trade, attract foreign investors, and create jobs.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnership, High Chief Green Amakwe, spoke at the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Abuja. He said the event supports Governor Alex Otti’s plan to make Abia a leading state for growth.

The summit theme is Bridging Continents, Unlocking Prosperity. It will take place from November 25 to 27, 2025 at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia. The state has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vega Green Global Enterprise to support the programme.

Green Amakwe said international investors are searching for new opportunities. He said Abia is ready to welcome them because the state leadership is building a better business climate.

He listed manufacturing, agriculture, agro processing, textile, fashion, leather works, energy, infrastructure, trade, and logistics as focus areas. He said the summit will also help strengthen ties between Turkey, Nigeria, and Abia State. He added that it will help showcase African goods.

He thanked the Abuja Chamber of Commerce for the support shown to the state. He said cooperation with chambers of commerce in Lagos, Kano, Aba, and Umuahia will help the success of the programme.

The President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chief Emeka Obegolu, congratulated the Abia team. He promised full support for the event. He encouraged businesses to take interest in Abia and the trade possibilities available. He said buying made in Nigeria products helps business growth. He noted that over 20,000 local bags were used for the MBA Conference.

He praised Governor Otti for positive reforms in Abia. He said the business community looks forward to the expo in Umuahia.

Investors, manufacturers, and policymakers from Nigeria, Turkey, and other countries are expected to attend the summit.
