Abia State Government Releases List of Successful Applicants for 2025 Teachers Recruitment Exercise
The Abia State Government has officially released the list of successful applicants for the 2025 teachers recruitment exercise. Qualified candidates can now check their status online via the state's recruitment portal.
A statement signed by the Recruitment Committee for the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, instructs all applicants to check their SMS or email notifications from February 26, 2025. Candidates can also verify their application status by logging into the official recruitment portal: www.mobse.abiastate.com using the phone number and email address provided during registration.
According to the release, successful applicants will be assigned to different categories of schools based on their qualifications:
Applicants with NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) will be posted to Primary Schools, where they will be tested in:
English Studies
Mathematics
General Studies
Applicants with a Degree Qualification will be posted to Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, where they will be tested in:
English Language
Mathematics
Their chosen area of specialization
One elective subject
The recruitment process will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT), scheduled to take place on March 5th and 6th, 2025.
All shortlisted candidates must print their exam photo-cards at least 48 hours before the exam date.
The photo-card will contain details about the designated CBT center, batch, and exam date.
Candidates who have been shortlisted are advised to check their emails and portal login details immediately to confirm their CBT exam schedule.
The government emphasizes the need for candidates to follow instructions carefully to ensure smooth participation in the recruitment process.
