Roxettes Group Denies Plans To Relocate Southeast Operations

ROXETTES GROUP has dismissed reports that it is planning to move all its industrial operations from the Southeast to Lagos. The company said it is only reviewing its structure to support long-term expansion.

The management explained that the idea of relocating the corporate headquarters to Lagos came up during a recent strategy meeting. Some journalists were present. The move would improve access to ports, investors, and export services. The company made it clear that this will not affect production activities in the Southeast.

Existing facilities in Obuaku City in Abia State and in Enugu State remain active. They employ hundreds of workers. ROXETTES GROUP will continue to operate its manufacturing, assembly, and processing lines in the region.

The company confirmed that new CNG Mother and Daughter Stations with a 75Nm3 per day dehydration and compression capacity will arrive in December 2025. These stations will support internal usage and strengthen industrial energy development in the Southeast and the rest of Nigeria.

ROXETTES GROUP praised Governor Alex Otti’s work in security and infrastructure in Abia State. The company said those improvements pushed it to invest in Obuaku City in the first place.

The Group restated its commitment to local jobs, green mobility, and industrial growth through its automotive, paint, and renewable energy businesses.

ROXETTES GROUP says its presence in the Southeast remains solid. The current business review aims to strengthen growth and improve nationwide alignment.
