Governor Alex Otti hosts Abia's winning medalists, pledges 100million, coaster bus, embargo lift for employment.

Yesterday, Governor Alex Otti hosted Abia's triumphant athletes, including gold and silver medalists from international, national and paralympic competitions, along with their coaching staff.

Gov. Otti described the occasion as one of his most joyful moments in office, stressing the importance of such events in boosting athlete morale.

He reiterated his administration's elimination of non-indigene distinction and announced the lifting of the state's employment embargo to employ 15 athletes, preventing their departure for better opportunities.

Infrastructure, transportation and welfare concerns were addressed as the governor pledged to rehabilitate and maintain their stadium, enhance working conditions and donate a new coaster bus to the sports council before November.
