Man Arrested for Defiling 1-Year-9-Month-Old Daughter in Abia State
A shocking case of child abuse has led to the arrest of Mr. Christopher Ugwunna Azubuike, a resident of Uratta Amaogwugwu in Isialangwa North, Abia State. The suspect, who allegedly defiled his own 1-year-9-month-old daughter, is currently in police custody.
The arrest was made possible through a collaborative effort between the Abia State Police Command and Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation, Abia State Chapter, headed by Comrade Ochiegbu Marvelous. The suspect was apprehended on October 15, 2024, in Aba. Two different hospitals in Aba confirmed that the baby is seriously deflowered.
According to reports, Mr. Azubuike will be charged to court soon to face the consequences of his actions.
