Governor Alex Otti Gifts Enyimba FC Two Luxury Buses, Reaffirms Commitment to Sports Development

It was a day of excitement and renewed morale at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, as Nigeria’s most successful football club, Enyimba International FC, received two brand-new luxury vehicles from the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.

The vehicles, a Coaster Bus and a Hummer Bus, were presented to the club as part of the Governor’s continued support for sports development and youth empowerment across Abia State. The gesture fulfilled a promise made to the People’s Elephant following their impressive performances in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The delivery of the buses sparked jubilation among players, coaches, and fans who described the move as another proof of the Governor’s deep commitment to reviving sports and rewarding excellence.

Enyimba Chairman and Nigerian football icon, Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo (Papilo), who announced the arrival of the buses during the team’s training session ahead of their Matchday 8 fixture against Kun Khalifat FC in Owerri, commended Governor Otti for his consistent leadership and vision.

“This is another great day in the history of Enyimba FC. His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, has once again shown that he is not just a leader but a father to the entire sporting community in Abia. His support inspires the team to keep working hard and remain focused on success,” Kanu said.

He further assured the players that management would continue to improve their welfare, emphasizing that discipline and dedication remain key to sustaining Enyimba’s winning legacy.

Governor Otti, who recently rewarded the team with ₦30 million for their victory over Insurance FC, has gained national attention for his active role in supporting sports and investing in youth-oriented projects.

The new Coaster Bus, painted in Enyimba’s royal blue, symbolizes renewed ambition and unity within the club. The Hummer Bus, designed for the technical crew and officials, is expected to arrive soon, providing additional comfort and logistics support for the team’s travels.
