Governor Otti Reaffirms Commitment to Abia People as He Receives Prelate of Cherubim Church

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has restated his administrations dedication to improving the lives of Abians, emphasizing that governance should be centered on wealth creation and poverty alleviation.

The Governor made this declaration when he received the Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide, Baba Aladuru, His Eminence, Dr. David Bobmanuel, during a courtesy visit at the Government House, Umuahia.

Governor Otti highlighted his administrations achievements over the past 21 months, citing progress in critical sectors such as road infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, waste management, workers welfare, and pension reforms. He reaffirmed his commitment to sustainable development, ensuring that Abians receive the best in governance.

During the meeting, the Prelate, Dr. David Bobmanuel, informed the Governor about a piece of land in Obingwa Local Government Area, originally intended for a church hospital but reportedly allocated to the Federal Mortgage Bank. He appealed for the Governors intervention in resolving the matter.

In response, Governor Otti assured the church leader that his administration would look into the issue with the aim of finding a fair resolution.

The Prelate also used the opportunity to announce the upcoming centenary anniversary of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide, scheduled for September 2025. He commended Governor Otti's leadership style and the transformational projects executed since he assumed office in 2023.

Expressing appreciation for the Governors inclusive governance, he acknowledged the appointment of church members into key government positions and encouraged continued prayers for the success of the Otti-led administration and Nigeria as a whole.

Governor Otti thanked the church for its spiritual support and contributions to societal development. He urged the church to sustain its prayers for the state and the country, emphasizing that good governance requires divine guidance and collective efforts.

The visit was attended by top government officials, including the Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Uchenna Okoro, and the Chairman of the Abia State Christian Welfare Pilgrims Board, Apostle Emmanuel Agomuo.
