Chima Anyaso Hails Governor Alex Otti for Visionary Leadership, Commends Commissioning of Landmark Projects in Abia

Dr. Chima Desmond Anyasọ, leader of the Ofuji Movement and former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), has lauded Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for his outstanding leadership and commitment to infrastructural transformation across the state.

Dr. Anyasọ’s commendation followed the commissioning of several landmark projects executed by the Otti administration, including the reconstructed Port Harcourt Road in Aba, the newly completed Obohia Road, and the remodeled Michael Okpara Auditorium in Umuahia.

Members of the Ofuji Movement were present in large numbers during the events held in Aba and Umuahia, demonstrating growing grassroots support for Governor Otti’s developmental vision and the “New Abia” agenda.

In his goodwill message, Dr. Anyasọ described Governor Otti’s leadership as visionary and people-focused, noting that his administration’s projects had started restoring confidence in government and improving living conditions across the state.

He said, “The continuation of building and retrofitting these blueprint projects will stimulate economic growth in Abia State, attract investments, and create job opportunities for our people.”

Dr. Anyasọ noted that the reconstruction of critical roads and modernization of public infrastructure had already improved mobility, boosted commercial activities, and enhanced the aesthetics of major cities in Abia.

He also commended the governor’s clear vision for sustainable growth, describing Otti’s infrastructural blueprint as one that is transforming Abia into a regional hub for innovation, commerce, and productivity.

“The governor’s approach to development reflects foresight, integrity, and inclusion. What we are seeing today is a deliberate effort to build a stronger economic base for Abia and the South East,” Dr. Anyasọ said.

He reaffirmed the Ofuji Movement’s commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that promote transparency, economic empowerment, and social welfare across the state.

Dr. Anyasọ called on Abians at home and abroad to rally behind the Otti administration as it continues to deliver tangible results that align with the people’s aspirations for a prosperous and united state.
