The Super Eagles star recently completed and handed over a magnificent ₦465 million mansion to his father, Reverend John Nkasiobi Chukwueze, in their hometown of Umu Chimaelu, Okoko Item, located in Bende LGA of Abia State.
The stunning 9-bedroom mansion, built on the family’s ancestral land, was unveiled during a heartwarming ceremony that drew family members, friends, and community members. The event was not only emotional but also deeply symbolic, capturing a story of struggle, forgiveness, and triumph.
Speaking during the commissioning of the mansion, Reverend Chukwueze was overwhelmed with emotion. With tears streaming down his face, he recounted the days of hardship when he couldn’t provide for his children and even withdrew from them due to shame.
“I abandoned my children, not because I didn’t love them, but because I was ashamed of my poverty. I had nothing to offer,” he said through tears.
