Abia Police track, recover six stolen vehicles, ask owners to come for identification

Aba, Nigeria,The Abia State Police Command has successfully recovered six stolen vehicles following a raid on a criminal hideout in Uratta, Aba. The operation, which was intelligence-led, was executed by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the state command.
According to the command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka, the vehicles were mostly snatched at gunpoint by criminals who had been causing unrest in the state. After extensive tracking, the suspects were apprehended, and the stolen vehicles were retrieved.
The vehicles recovered during the operation include:

The police have urged members of the public who have valid ownership documents related to the recovered vehicles to visit the Abia State Police Command Headquarters for authentication and reclamation.
DSP Maureen Chinaka emphasized the command commitment to tackling crime and ensuring the safety of residents. She further encouraged the public to report suspicious activities and cooperate with law enforcement to help combat vehicle theft and other criminal activities in the state.
