The Ahuoma Anyasọ Educational Foundation has announced full sponsorship of the funeral rites and burial expenses of the late Reverend Okor Nwachukwu Ema, a respected educator and community leader from Ibinaukwu, Igbere, Abia State.

The announcement was made during a condolence visit by the Foundation’s founder, Dr. Chima Anyasọ, and his team, who described the late Reverend as a man of integrity, discipline, and deep moral conviction.

Rev. Ema, who served with distinction at the Ahuoma Anyasọ Educational Foundation, was celebrated for his commitment to education, mentorship, and community service. His leadership, according to staff and students, left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire excellence and compassion.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Anyasọ said the decision to cover all burial expenses was a small way of honouring a man who gave selflessly to shape future generations.

“Rev. Ema was a man of integrity and purpose, a teacher who lived his life for others. Supporting his family in this moment of grief is consistent with our Foundation’s mission of humanity, compassion, and community upliftment,” Dr. Anyasọ said.

He noted that Rev. Ema’s life exemplified the values the Foundation upholds — love, discipline, service, and faith. “He built character in his students, guided his colleagues, and lived an exemplary life that deserves recognition,” he added.

Family members, colleagues, and community leaders present at the visit expressed deep appreciation to the Foundation for its rare show of kindness. They described the gesture as a reflection of the late Reverend’s own teachings about empathy and service to others.

The emotional gathering highlighted the profound bond between the Foundation and its staff, as well as its continued commitment to honouring those who have dedicated their lives to education and community development.

Rev. Okor Nwachukwu Ema will be remembered as an educator, mentor, and servant leader whose influence shaped lives beyond the classroom. His legacy, embedded in the values of hard work and humility, will continue to live on through the Foundation and those he inspired.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
